Interesting architecture/statues

To find beauty in the old.. but also in the modern.
From something as simple as a window.. or a peculiar door, to big historic monuments that hold big amounts of history and pain as much as celebration. Buildings are everywhere around us, and they will keep existing as much as we do.

I find different buildings poetic. Seeing how styles change, how very old buildings hold themselves so strong and how modern and newer buildings add a feeling of futurism.
The best combination is when both types are near each other. Everything holds so much information, cultures changing and ideas developing, people leaving and coming, a nostalgic feeling that does not weigh you down, but excites you for the next beautiful thing to come.
